As the school summer holidays approach, parents in Newcastle have a fantastic opportunity to engage their children in fun, educational, and sporty activities through the Holiday Activity Fund (HAF) camp which is run in partnership with Newcastle City Council and StreetGames.
Also known as Newcastle’s Best Holiday Ever, the camps are designed to provide a unique, rugby-themed multi-sport experience that uses the core values of rugby: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, and Sportsmanship. These camps are perfect for kids who are eager to stay active, make new friends, and learn skills during their summer break.
Camp Details:
The camps are spread over four weeks and will run from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm each day, offering a variety of engaging activities:
- Week 1: July 22nd – 25th at Kingston Park Stadium, Brunton Road, NE13 8AF
- Week 2: July 29th – August 1st at Kingston Park Stadium, Brunton Road, NE13 8AF
- Week 3: August 5th – 8th at Tyneside Badminton Centre, Bowness Road, NE5 2TA
- Week 4: August 12th – 15th at Tyneside Badminton Centre, Bowness Road, NE5 2TA

There will be a wide range of activities to keep kids entertained and engaged, including rugby-themed games, arts and crafts, Movie Days and much more.
Understanding the importance of nutrition, the HAF camps provide each young participant with a healthy meal at lunch and healthy snacks throughout the day. This ensures that children have the energy and focus to enjoy and benefit from the camp activities fully.
